I can't walk down the road without seeing it. It's on T-shirts, bags, keyrings. Sometimes they change the color. Why has this happened?

I haven't seen it myself. Maybe designers have decided it's time to take the flag back from the racist element and make it for everyone again?

I haven't seen it, but GOOD :) Many counties in UK got told to bring down the UK flag because it may 'offend' others. Good that we are wearing our flag :D PLUS, it's the world cup soon, so we'll see ALOT of the England Flag soon :D

For various reasons. For a long time now - `England ` has had no strong identifying symbol. The Union Jack was used as one for Britain, before Wales and Scotland broke away - now they need something to indentify us English (as against us `Brits`) So we English have claimed the flag for our own. The BNP has also done its bit. It`s supposed to be a party for the English far right. Simply, the English who felt they were losing their indentity with this growing multi-cultural society, claimed back their birthright. On top of all this, it is actually a very clear eye-catching flag/symbol.

I haven't noticed. If you live in London or a popular city perhaps it's tourists? I have notice a lot of union jack handbags in shops such as Topshop and Miss Selfridge but that's about it. I'll tell you what I have noticed though 'I <3 LONDON' or 'I <3 BRIGHTON' etc Don't worry, it will soon fade!!

I'm not sure either, generally it has become more acceptable to be anti-pc and offensive, I guess people are feeling more patriotic this side of the world. I blame it on current politics, current wars many tv shows are being rather offensive as the 'norm' its like a lil backlash, Obamas presidency has already set many fuming. I am English and proud to be but won't ignore what's under my own nose.

why not ? it's the same as anything coming into fashion i guess do you live in a tourist attraction place or something ??? hmmm . . . i wonder
